The Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op will be hosting an old-fashioned Halloween for kids (suggested ages 4 to 10), this Saturday, October 30, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Co-op Community Learning Center at 1914 Alhambra Blvd. (just around the corner from the Co-op). Participants will design their own treat bags and create fun and “spooky” Halloween goodies. Kids should also wear their best costume so they can join the costume parade to the Co-op and trick-or-treat on every aisle!
The event costs $15 for non-members of the Co-op, and $10 for Co-op members. Register online at www.sacfoodcoop.com, or call the Co-op customer service desk at (916) 455-2667 on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Due to limited parking space, participants are respectfully requested not to park in the Co-op parking lot.) Sounds like a fun event, especially if you’re trying to get your kids exposed to some of those healthy goodies in addition to the not-so-healthy ones this Halloween… 🙂
