Natural Foods Co-op Hosts Screenings of “The Last Crop” April 30

Our neighborhood’s own Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op is hosting two screenings of the documentary “The Last Crop” on Friday, April 30.  “The Last Crop” tells the story of Jeff and Annie Main, and their vision in creating Capay Valley’s Good Humus Produce farm.  The film explains the importance of having local, organic farms to provide healthy produce to consumers.

If you want to eat local food, we must preserve our local farms. Capay Valley’s Good Humus Produce  provides healthy and delicious organic produce to our region, and is being preserved so that it will continue to do so for generations to come. The Last Crop is a documentary film that tells the story of Jeff and Annie Main, their farm and their vision. This inspiring evening will include a discussion with the farmers and filmmaker.

Organic snacks, beer and wine will be available.

You may register at this link.  The cost is $10 for both Co-op owners and non-owners.  (Please call the Co-op if you register and are unable to attend.)
