E.K. McClatchy Library Offers Valentine’s Day Events for Teens and Kids

Our neighborhood's own Ella K. McClatchy Library, at 2112 22nd Street (between U and V).

Ah, it’s February, and love is in the air…perhaps.  Well, maybe for some of us.  Anyway, Valentine’s Day is not far off, and the Ella K. McClatchy Library is hosting a couple of fun events for young people in order to celebrate.

Teenagers are welcome to the Library’s Valentine’s Day Chocolate Party on Saturday, February 6 at 2:00 p.m.  According to the event flyer, participants can “enjoy lots of yummy treats and the company of your friends.”  Hmm…a chocolate party?  How can you say “No” to that?

Children are welcome to the Library’s “Make Your Own Valentines” Party on Wednesday, February 10 at 4:00 p.m.  All materials to make your own valentines will be provided…just bring your creativity!

Both events are sponsored by the Friends of the Ella K. McClatchy Library.  For more information, please visit the Library website, or call (916) 264-2700.
