Yes, dear readers, as the cooler weather and falling leaves are telling us, Halloween is only a few weeks away.  There are a couple of Halloween family events coming up in the neighborhood:

Sacramento Area YMCA – Family Halloween at the Y

Saturday, October 24, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  (2021 W Street).  $5.00 General admission.  (Parents are free with child admission; parents must attend with a child/children.)

Includes a Haunted House, carnival booths & games, face painting, pumpkin and scarecrow contest, a costume contest (for kids and adults), and a “Ghoulish” Bounce House.

Pre-Registration is required.  Register online at www.sacymca.org, or just drop by at 2021 W Street.  For more information, please call (916) 452-9622.

 

Friends of the Ella K. McClatchy Library Halloween Party

Wednesday, October 28, 6:30 p.m.  E.K. McClatchy Library, 2112 22nd Street.  Free.

Kids are invited to come wearing their costumes and join the Library for “not too spooky” games, crafts and treats!   For more information, please call the Library at (916) 264-2700.
